Founded in 1942 by a group of dedicated mothers whose goal was to find solutions for the unmet needs of their children with disabilities, PROVAIL has been supporting people with disabilities to fulfill their life choices across Washington for over 80 years. PROVAIL is now one of the largest disability service providers in the region. Throughout our history, PROVAIL has been a leader in the movement toward an inclusive community. From the move from sheltered workshops to community-based employment and institutional living to community living, PROVAIL’s programs have led the way for inclusion and equity for every Washingtonian.
